Art Reflection

In art we had to make our own design by carving out a picture of our selves or someone else and make a print by carving out the shaded side to give it some kind of dark look.When I was doing my art I found it a bit challenging to think of what to draw at first but once I had a good idea and focused on it I did a pretty good job.Some things I learnt was how to find the shaded areas and shape them out.Over all I really enjoyed creating and carving out a self portrait and I hope that we can do this topic again sometime in the future.

Geometry - AO 4.1

Intro:
In class me and Samson are going to show how we learnt about 2-d and 3-d shapes.In our class you can pick your own groups and  go through the rubric  to get achieved,merit or Excellence. To get achieved you have to finish all the coloured task  to get achieved.To get merit you have to finish more than seven and to get Excellence you have to finish all the task.

DLO:
We followed a learning plan. We selected an AO - Identify classes...
What we have learnt  - is how to identify the geometric groups for shapes. Me and Samson has finished our first task we made Flash cards to show 3-d and 2-d shapes and also we made poster to show the different kinds of shapes and there geometric properties like Vertices,faces and corners to identify the geometric properties.

Reflection:
What we would change the quality and effort we put into our work.I liked working with Samson because he was a good team mate and we work well .I learnt that there are other ways instead of pictures to identify shapes by using properties. 

Fastest cart ever!!

In science we have been given a team challenge to make a cart And the idea we came up with was to make a cart using a plastic bag and a piece of card board and guess what we had the fastest car in the world.when we tested our car is the best in the class and we came first.The things things we focused on was friction, force and how to make it unbalanced.What the struggles were in our was thinking of our way to make the cart go fast.But then I came up with the idea to make a plastic back cart.

Composition

What I have learnt about Composition is that it is very important to set the mood and is what makes a scene very interesting to me. I have also learnt that composition has a certain tempo for example sad has a slow and smooth flow. What we have study so far is Christmas and making our own emotional songs. My favourite composition is Romance because I like the tempo and the instruments. Another reason is because I like the sort of words they say and the emotion they put into the songs.
